Red light panels give off two types of light: Red and Near-Infrared light. These wavelengths work by penetrating into the body’s tissues. Once there, the cells convert the light into ATP (a form of energy that cells can use), giving them more energy to do their job. The result is that the body gets a much-needed boost in its ability to heal and recover, decrease pain, and even improve skin health.
